Gallery Walk in Oshkosh

Whimsy House will be on the road this weekend in Oshkosh, WI. The downtown area has a lovely Gallery Walk the first Saturday of each month and I am honored to be the featured artist at dainty daisies. Store owner Michelle has an amazing collection of handmade goodness for sale in her shop. Check out these goodies recently posted on her blog:

A fabulous turn out...

Phew! What a fun filled weekend! Many thanks to everyone who came out on a rainy Saturday to peruse the Craftacular and Confectionique. A wonderland of goodness, right?? I hope it was a fun day for everyone. Here's a peek at my display in case you missed it...

I met so many fun new people and it's ever so inspiring to be surrounded by other creative minds. The joy! Whimsy House will be on the road in May again... more details to come!

Debuting this Saturday... Confectionique!

If you're in the area this weekend you simply CANNOT miss the debut of Confectionique in Middleton. It is a treat for the senses, in inspiration for your soul. You'll surely find a treasure or two just calling your name... This place is hard to resist!

This fabulous monthly market shop is the inspiration of Jessica and Anastasia, crafting sisters at heart. From their blog, a concise description of the wonderland they've created:

"We are two crafting sisters dedicated to finding forgotten vintage trinkets and crafting them into treasures. Confectionique is a monthly craft market where we get a chance to show our crafts as well as treasures created by other local artists/crafters. Let us bring a bit of "joie de vivre" to your Saturday! Going Yo Yo!!

With two shows coming up this weekend I've been busy preparing a few new items for Whimsy House... going Yo Yo! I've always loved the cheerful nature of fabric yoyos and have a few beautiful genuine vintage table runners in my collection. Inspired by these treasures I've come up with yoyo rings, earrings and pins all fashioned from vintage feedsack themed fabric with old buttons, beads and flower findings.
